Alimentation Couche-Tard has announced plans to acquire GetGo Café Market stores from Giant Eagle. This move will allow Couche-Tard to expand its presence in the convenience store market and build on the success of the GetGo brand.

As part of the transaction, Couche-Tard and Giant Eagle have agreed to maintain and partner together on Giant Eagle's popular myPerks loyalty program.

The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2023, subject to regulatory approval.
